Ingredients
  

For the steak bowl

  • 1 lb Steak Marinated for flavor.
  • 2 cups Bell peppers Chopped into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For marinating and cooking.
  • 1 tsp Salt Enhances flavors.
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Adds mild heat.
  • 2 cups Rice Hearty base for the bowl.

Preparation

  • Marinate the steak in olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  • Chop the bell peppers and onion into bite-sized pieces.
  • Cook rice according to package instructions.
  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Cooking

  • Once the grill is ready, cook the steak for 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches the desired doneness (145°F/63°C for medium).
  • In the last few minutes of cooking, add the peppers and onions to the grill until softened.

Serving

  • Remove the steak and veggies from the grill and let the steak rest for a few minutes.
  • Slice the steak against the grain into strips.
  • Assemble the bowl with rice, grilled veggies, and steak slices on top.

Notes

Let the steak rest to maintain juiciness. Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness. Adjust seasoning based on taste.
