Preparation

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F or 200°C).
  • Season your juicy grilled steak generously with salt and pepper for balanced flavor.
  • Slice fresh mozzarella into thick rounds, ensuring a hearty bite.
  • Wash cherry tomatoes and pat them dry.
  • Gather fresh basil leaves.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned steak on the preheated grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until your desired doneness.
  • During the last 10 minutes of cooking, place the cherry tomatoes on a sheet of aluminum foil, drizzling lightly with salt and pepper, and fold the foil to create a pouch.
  • Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain.

Assembly

  • On a serving platter, layer the sliced steak, fresh mozzarella, roasted cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil.
  • Finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze over the top.
