Preparation

  • Trim the woody ends of asparagus and rinse under cold water.

  • If using, squeeze lemon juice over the asparagus.

Cooking

  • Lay out a large piece of aluminum foil and place prepared asparagus in the center.
  • Fold the sides over the asparagus to create a tightly sealed packet.
  • Place the foil packet on the grill and close the lid.
  • Grill for 8-10 minutes, or until asparagus is bright green and tender.

Serving

  • Carefully remove the foil packet from the grill using tongs.
  • Transfer the grilled asparagus to a serving platter.
  • Drizzle with additional olive oil or lemon juice before serving.
  • Serve immediately as a side dish.

Notes
