Ingredients

Dough Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour Provides the structure and lift without needing yeast.
  • 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt Adds creaminess and high protein, enhancing moisture and texture.

Topping Ingredients

  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce Delicious base for spreading, contributing rich flavor.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese Melts beautifully, creating a gooey, satisfying layer.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Adds additional cheesiness and flavor complexity; variations can include sharp cheddar.
  • toppings (e.g., vegetables, meats, herbs) Customize your pizza with preferred toppings.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Mix the dough: Add the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt to a large mixing bowl. Stir with a spatula until a shaggy dough forms and most of the flour is incorporated.
  • Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes in the bowl until smooth and no dry bits remain.

Cooking

  • Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F by placing a baking sheet inside to get hot.
  • Shape and transfer the dough by rolling it over a rolling pin (or lifting it by hand) to the preheated, parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Pinch the edges to form a crusty edge.
  • Top the dough with pizza sauce, mozzarella slices, and any favorite toppings.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crisp around the edges.

Notes

For a fluffier crust, let the dough rest for a few minutes before rolling it out. Ensure your baking sheet is hot to achieve the best crispiness.
