Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  • Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until they are evenly coated.
  • Mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, orange juice, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a separate bowl to create the sauce.

Cooking

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Carefully place the coated chicken pieces into the hot oil and fry in batches. Cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  • Reduce the heat, add the sauce mixture to the pan, and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, stirring regularly until it thickens slightly.
  • Toss the crispy chicken in the sauce until well-coated.

Serving

  • Plate the chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
