Ingredients
  

For the shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Tender and juicy; they soak up flavors beautifully.
  • 4 tablespoons butter Adds richness and a velvety texture.

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Blends with the butter for creaminess without the heaviness.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Brightens up the dish with a zesty freshness.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds warmth and a pop of color.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Enhances all the flavors.
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper Gives a light kick.

For the topping

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Gives a cheesy flavor and a crunchy topping when baked.
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs Adds an irresistible crunch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while you prepare the shrimp.
  • Mince the garlic and chop the parsley.
  • In a bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs together for the crunchy topping.
  • Toss the shrimp in a separate bowl with lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the mayonnaise until well-coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the panko-Parmesan mixture on top, covering the shrimp.

Serving

  • Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Garnish with parsley right before serving for that fresh touch.
  • Serve hot with your favorite side, like steamed vegetables or rice!

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best taste; frozen shrimp can be used but should be thawed completely. Broiling for the last 2 minutes can enhance the crispiness of the topping. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
