Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a generous pinch of salt and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Rinse the shrimp under cold water, pat them dry, and set them aside.
  • Peel and chop the garlic cloves into small pieces.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they’re pink and opaque. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant (watch it closely so it doesn’t burn!).
  • Return the shrimp to the skillet, add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.

Serving

  • Divide the garlic noodles among plates or bowls.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if using, and garnish with chopped green onions.
  • Serve warm and enjoy every satisfying bite!

Notes

For the best results, choose fresh shrimp and keep a close eye on the garlic while it cooks to prevent burning. You can also customize this recipe to be gluten-free or dairy-free as needed.
