  • 8 ounces mushrooms Provides a hearty texture; shiitake, Cremini, or button are recommended.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances the natural flavor; adjust based on the butter's salt content.

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley Adds color and vibrant taste that brightens the dish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Melt the vegan butter in a pan over medium-high heat until melted.
  • Add the mushrooms and a pinch of salt, and swirl all the ingredients together.
  • Cook on one side for 3-5 minutes without moving the mushrooms to allow caramelization.
  • Turn the mushrooms over and brown on the other side for another 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and reduce to medium heat and sauté until fragrant.
  • Sauté garlic for 30 seconds to 1 minute, ensuring it does not burn.
  • Stir in the parsley and heat through for another 30 seconds.
  • Remove from heat, sprinkle more parsley on top, serve and enjoy.

Notes

To maximize flavor, choose the freshest mushrooms. Avoid overcrowding the pan for proper caramelization. Adding lemon juice or balsamic vinegar enhances the taste. Serve hot for the best aroma.
