Instructions
 

Prep

  • Peel and quarter the potatoes.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for the garlic.
  • Wrap the garlic in foil with a drizzle of oil and roast for 30 minutes.

Cook/Assemble

  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15 minutes).
  • Drain and return the potatoes to the pot.
  • Squeeze the roasted garlic into the pot, add the butter and heavy cream.
  • Mash until smooth and creamy; season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Serve

  • Transfer the creamy mashed potatoes to a serving bowl.
  • Drizzle with a little extra melted butter if desired.
  • Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes
