Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to fully heat.
  • Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract until evenly incorporated.

Cooking

  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the Fruity Pebbles and chocolate chips (if using).
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop generous portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set but still soft.

Serving

  • Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes.
