Preparation

  • Wash the spinach: Rinse under cold water to remove any grit.
  • Chop the onion and garlic: Finely chop your onion and mince the garlic so they blend well.
  • Prepare your pan: Grab a large skillet or sauté pan to cook everything together.

Cooking

  • Melt the butter over medium heat in your skillet.
  • Add the onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until it’s translucent.
  • Toss in the garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the spinach and let it wilt down, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Incorporate the cream cheese: Gently stir in the cream cheese until it melts and becomes smooth.
  • Finish with Parmesan: Mix in the Parmesan cheese until everything is creamy and well combined.

Serving

  • Transfer to a serving dish: Pour the warm creamed spinach into a bowl or your serving platter.

Notes
