  • 1 large Egg Binds the patties
  • 1/2 cup Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley Chopped
  • to taste Salt Essential seasoning
  • to taste Pepper Essential seasoning

Preparation

  • Begin by draining the tuna thoroughly to remove excess liquid.
  • In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, bread crumbs, eggs, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix until well combined, ensuring all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Cooking

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a touch of oil.
  • Once the skillet is hot, scoop portions of the tuna mixture and shape them into patties.
  • Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Remove the patties from the skillet and let them cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve warm with your favorite sides, garnishes, or dipping sauces.

Notes

For crispier patties, ensure your skillet is hot before adding the patties. Leftover tuna patties can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. These patties can be frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat by baking in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
