Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, add the honey and mustards and whisk to combine. Adjust sweetness and tang to taste. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Cooking

  • Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 3 to 5 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  • Turn the chicken over and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes on the other side until nearly cooked through.
  • Drizzle the prepared honey mustard sauce over the chicken, ensuring an even coating.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the skillet, stir well to combine, and cover the pan.
  • Cook over medium-low heat for about 3 to 5 minutes until the broccoli is crisp-tender and the chicken is fully cooked. Serve immediately.

Notes

To keep chicken juicy, avoid overcooking. Marinate chicken in honey mustard mixture for added flavor. Broil for a caramelized finish, and chop broccoli uniformly for even cooking.
