Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Stir in honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl until smooth, then stir into the sauce to thicken, cooking for 2 more minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F).
  • Thread marinated chicken cubes onto soaked skewers, packing closely but not tightly.
  • Grill skewers for 5-6 minutes on each side, basting with honey garlic sauce.
  • Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and caramelizes to a golden brown.
  • Remove from grill and let rest for a couple of minutes.

Serving

  • Transfer skewers to a serving platter.
  • Drizzle with additional honey garlic sauce and garnish as desired.
  • Serve warm with steamed rice or a fresh salad.

Notes
