Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Allow to sit until frothy for about 5 minutes.
  • Add olive oil and salt, then mix in the flour gradually until the dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise until doubled in size, around 1 hour.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Once risen, punch down the dough and spread it out on a greased baking sheet.
  • Make dimples in the dough with your fingers, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
  • Serve warm, drizzled with a little extra olive oil if desired.
