Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich

  • 4 pieces Hoagie Rolls Soft and fluffy base for the sandwich.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Adds richness and helps achieve a golden-crisp texture.
  • 2 tablespoons Dried Minced Onions Enhances the flavor of the beef.
  • 8 ounces Sliced Deli Roast Beef The star of the dish; tender and savory.
  • 1 packet Dried Au Jus mix Perfect seasoning to elevate the beef.
  • 4 slices Havarti Cheese Creamy and melts beautifully.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread softened butter onto all sides of each hoagie roll.
  • Sprinkle dried minced onions over the buttered rolls.
  • Lay sliced deli roast beef on a plate and sprinkle with the dried au jus mix.

Cooking/Assembling

  • Place the buttered rolls on a baking sheet, open face up.
  • Layer the roast beef on the bottom half of each hoagie roll.
  • Top with a slice of Havarti cheese.
  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Remove sandwiches from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
  • Serve hot with a side of warm beef au jus for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, grill the hoagie rolls before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
