Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • While the pasta cooks, prepare the chicken by cutting it into thin slices.
  • In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese. Set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Dip each chicken slice into the breadcrumb mixture and place in the skillet.
  • Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet during the last minute of cooking to enhance flavor.
  • Remove chicken and add the cooked pasta and tomato sauce to the skillet, mixing until all ingredients are coated.

Serving

  • Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish and layer the cooked chicken on top.
  • Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese over the chicken for extra flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For a crispier coating, double-dip the chicken in breadcrumbs. Use whole wheat pasta for a healthier option. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
