Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cook the chicken if it’s not pre-cooked—bake, boil, or sauté until fully cooked.
  • Shred the chicken using two forks or your hands.
  • In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper.

Assembly

  • In a greased casserole dish, spread the chicken mixture evenly.
  • Top with frozen peas if using, then layer the tater tots on top, arranging them in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the tater tots.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
