  • 8 oz Pasta Choose your favorite type.
  • 1 can Canned Tuna Drained.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For cooking.
  • 1 clove Garlic Mince for flavor.
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Halved.
  • 1/4 cup Parsley Chopped.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning.
  • optional Grated Parmesan Cheese To garnish if desired.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
  • Weigh out 8 oz of your favorite pasta.
  • Mince 1 clove of garlic and halve 1 cup of cherry tomatoes. Chop 1/4 cup of parsley and set it aside.

Cooking

  • Add the pasta to boiling water, cooking it according to the package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.
  • While the pasta is cooking, in a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat.
  • Once the olive oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant, but don't let it brown.
  • Toss in the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they soften.
  • Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet, mixing it with the garlic and tomatoes. Gently fold in the drained tuna.

Serving

  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley. If you like, top with some grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Serve hot and savor every delightful bite!

Notes

Double the batch and store in airtight containers for meal prep. Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the microwave or stovetop with a splash of water.
