  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3 large Large Eggs Flaxseed works as a substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Opt for pure for best results.
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa.
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Use a gluten-free blend if needed.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Enhances all flavors.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder Omit for denser brownies.
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Optional for extra indulgence.
  • 1 cup Dulce de Leche Can be homemade or store-bought.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a mixing bowl, melt the unsalted butter and allow it to cool slightly.
  • Whisk the granulated sugar into the melted butter until well combined.
  • Add the large eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined and smooth.

Cooking and Assembly

  • In a separate bowl, combine the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  • Spread half of the brownie batter in the prepared pan, smoothing it evenly.
  • Drizzle half of the dulce de leche on the brownie layer and swirl gently with a knife.
  • Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and repeat with the remaining dulce de leche, swirling to create a marbled effect.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Serving

  • Once baked, allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  • Carefully lift them out using the parchment paper and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Slice into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
  • For a special touch, drizzle additional dulce de leche on top before serving.
  • Enjoy alongside a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.

Notes

For best results, avoid overmixing the batter and do not bake for too long to maintain the fudgy texture. Store in an airtight container for freshness.
