  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened
  • 1 cup sour cream For creaminess
  • 1 cup dill pickles Chopped into small pieces
  • 2 tbsp pickle juice For flavor enhancement
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill Chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For depth of flavor

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients on the counter—cream cheese, sour cream, dill pickles, pickle juice, fresh dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Allow the cream cheese to sit out for about 30 minutes, or microwave it for about 15 seconds to soften.
  • Chop the dill pickles into small, bite-sized pieces.

Cooking/Assembly

  • In a large bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in the diced pickles and pickle juice, making sure everything is well combined.
  • Add chopped fresh dill and garlic powder. Mix in salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it chill in the fridge for at least one hour.
  • Scoop the dip into a serving bowl.
  • Sprinkle some additional dill on top for freshness, and serve with chips, veggie sticks, or crackers on the side.

Notes

For a stronger pickle flavor, swap diced pickles for dill pickle relish. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
