Preparation
- Start with 1 pound of fresh grapes. Ensure they are washed and dried thoroughly.
- Gather all your ingredients and tools, including a mixing bowl, a saucepan for heating the syrup, and a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Set the baking sheet aside for later.
Cooking / Assembling
- In a saucepan, combine 2 cups of white sugar, 1 cup of water, and ½ cup of light corn syrup. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Once the mixture starts to boil, stop stirring and let it boil for about 3-5 minutes until it reaches a smooth consistency.
- Remove from heat and add in 1 teaspoon of white gel food coloring and your choice of flavored oil, stirring to mix completely.
- Dip each grape into the syrup, ensuring they are fully coated, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle colorful sprinkles on top before the coating hardens.
