  • Slice the fresh cucumbers very thin, aiming for uniformity for even brining.

Combination

  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers, green bell pepper, kosher salt, dill, celery seed, and white vinegar. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly coated.

Storage

  • Transfer the mixture to a large glass jar. Seal tightly and shake gently to submerge the cucumbers in the brine.
  • Refrigerate the jar for at least 1 to 2 hours before consuming, but they taste best after 8 hours.
  • The pickles can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three weeks.

Notes
