Ingredients
  

Vegetables

  • 2 pieces Bell Peppers Thinly sliced.
  • 1/2 piece Onion Thinly sliced.
  • 1 cup Angel Hair Shredded Lettuce Or shredded coleslaw.
  • 1 piece Avocado Or guacamole.

Protein

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef or Turkey The protein-packed heart of the dish.

Seasonings

  • 1 package Taco Seasoning Lends bold flavor to the meat.
  • 1/2 cup Water Used for cooking the meat.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Enhances all the flavors.

Cheese

  • 4 pieces Laughing Cow Cheese Or other cheese/cream cheese spread.
  • 1 cup Nacho Cheese or Shredded Cheese For melty goodness.

Wraps

  • 4 pieces Burrito Tortillas or Lavash Wraps The vessel for all these delicious fillings.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Prepare your work area and gather all ingredients for smooth assembly.
  • Thinly slice the bell peppers and onion.
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until browned.
  • Add taco seasoning and water. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until combined and liquid has evaporated.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.

Cooking and Assembling

  • Sauté sliced peppers and onions in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes until tender.
  • Lay a tortilla flat and spread a wedge of cheese evenly in the center.
  • Layer the cooked taco meat, followed by sautéed peppers and onions, then shredded lettuce.
  • Top with avocado or guacamole and sprinkle with nacho or shredded cheese.
  • Fold the edges of the tortilla up and over the fillings to form a closed wrap.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the wrap for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve immediately while warm and enjoy with salsa or sour cream.
  • Slice in half diagonally to showcase the layers.

Notes

For meal prep, wraps can be made in advance. Store in the fridge for quick dinners. Freeze for up to 2 months, but texture may alter.
