Assembly

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the feta, ricotta, mozzarella, parsley, and black pepper until creamy.
  • Cover phyllo dough with a damp cloth to prevent it from drying out.

Assembly

  • Take one sheet of phyllo, brush it lightly with melted butter, and layer a second sheet on top, repeating until you have four layers.
  • Spoon some cheese mixture along the edge and roll it up tightly, placing it seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Repeat with remaining sheets and filling; brush the tops with butter for shine.

Cooking

  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Drizzle with sweet chili sauce and lime juice while still warm.
  • Cut into portions and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, brush phyllo dough generously with melted butter. You can also refrigerate rolled borek ahead of baking. If using leftover cheese filling, it can be used in other dishes like omelets.
