Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Dice the onion, jalapeño, and garlic, and set aside.
  • Grate or shred the white American cheese to allow it to melt faster.
  • Measure out your milk and diced tomatoes with green chilies.

Cooking

  • In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onions and sauté them for about 3-4 minutes until they soften.
  • Toss in the minced garlic and diced jalapeño, and cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Lower the heat and stir in the shredded cheese and milk until completely melted.
  • Mix in the diced tomatoes with green chilies and cumin, stirring until everything is well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  • Enjoy immediately with tortilla chips, fresh veggies, or drizzle it over your tacos!

Notes
