Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients.
  • Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.

  • Coat the chicken pieces lightly with the flour mixture.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  • Add chicken pieces in a single layer, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken and set aside; in the same skillet, pour in chicken broth and scrape up any brown bits.
  • Whisk in milk and sour cream, then bring to a simmer.
  • Add chicken back into the skillet, sprinkle in ranch seasoning mix, and stir well.

Serving
