Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and egg.
  • Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix the ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix!
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the meatballs, ensuring they don’t crowd the pan. Brown on all sides, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Transfer the browned meatballs to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until cooked through.
  • In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and add additional grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Stir on low heat until the sauce thickens and is creamy.
  • Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Serving

  • Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and add them to the creamy sauce.
  • Gently toss the meatballs in the sauce until coated.
