Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Gather all your ingredients and have them ready.
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Cooking

  • Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese and half of the French fried onions into your mixture.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, followed by the rest of the French fried onions.
  • Bake uncovered for about 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Serving

  • Once baked, remove your casserole from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley for a pop of color.
  • Scoop generous servings onto plates. Enjoy the creamy goodness!

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time and add flavor. For a dairy-free version, swap in dairy-free sour cream and cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
