Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Rinse the chicken thighs under cold water, then pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Mince the garlic and set it aside.
  • Chop your fresh herbs for garnish.

Cooking

  • Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Once hot, place the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for about 5-7 minutes until the skin is crisp and golden.
  • Flip the thighs over and pour in the chicken broth, ensuring the chicken is partially submerged.
  • Add minced garlic, butter, and heavy cream, stirring gently to combine.
  • Top with grated Parmesan cheese and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (165°F/74°C).

Serving

  • Remove the skillet from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
