  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Cheddar or your choice for creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup Milk Helps to create a moist texture.
  • 1 large Egg Binds the ingredients together.
  • 1/4 cup Diced jalapeños Optional; adds a dash of spice.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Adds depth to the flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for enhancing flavors.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Gather all your ingredients and a mixing bowl.
  • If using jalapeños, finely dice them and set aside.
  • Grease a mini muffin tin, or use silicone muffin liners for easy removal.

Cooking

  • In the mixing bowl, combine the cornbread mix, shredded cheese, milk, egg, garlic powder, and diced jalapeños. Stir until just combined.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper to your taste.
  • Spoon the batter into the mini muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Serving

  • Let the poppers cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  • Enjoy them warm as a snack, appetizer, or part of your meal plan.
  • Consider serving with your favorite dipping sauce for added flavor.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding herbs like chives or cilantro to the mix. If you prefer a spicier taste, add more jalapeños or even a touch of cayenne pepper. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days to maintain freshness and flavor.
