Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to the recommended temperature for the bioplastic you are using.
  • Use scissors to cut your plastic sheets into inspiring shapes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine natural pigments or food coloring with water to achieve your desired color intensity.

Assembly

  • Take each plastic shape and dip it into your chosen color, spreading the mixture evenly over the surface.
  • Place the colored shapes onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Carefully place the tray inside the preheated oven and let the pieces bake according to product instructions.
  • Once baked, remove the tray and allow the suncatchers to cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Once cool, incorporate small beads or dried flowers into your designs for added charm.
  • Use string or any hanging material to display your beautiful suncatchers.
