Preparation

  • Begin by washing all your fresh produce under cold water.
  • Dice the apples into bite-sized pieces, leaving the skin on for added crunch and nutrition. Set them aside in a bowl.
  • Wash and dice the celery into small chunks.
  • Cut the grapes in half.
  • Chop the walnuts finely to ensure even distribution throughout the salad.

Assembly

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, celery, and halved grapes.
  • Add the chopped walnuts.
  • In a separate small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad mixture and stir gently to combine.

Notes

You can substitute half of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for extra protein. The salad can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to two days. It is best served cold or at room temperature.
