Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Dice the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
  • Drain and rinse both beans.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the cooked beef, onions, garlic, spices, tomatoes, and beans to the slow cooker.
  • Stir everything well before covering.

Serving

  • Set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooked, stir to combine and taste for seasoning.
  • Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings!

Notes

For added flavor, brown the meat and sauté the onions and garlic first. This chili is customizable; feel free to make it gluten-free or spicy as needed. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
