  • 1 tbsp Active Dry Yeast Makes your bread rise
  • 1 cup Whole Milk (or Almond Milk) Adds moisture; warm it up before use
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter (softened) Contributes to tender texture
  • 2 large Eggs Helps bind the ingredients
  • 1 tsp Salt Balances flavors

For the cinnamon swirl

  • 1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon Provides warm flavor
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar For cinnamon sugar mixture

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and kitchen tools: mixing bowls, a whisk, and a loaf pan.
  • In a small bowl, warm the milk until it’s just warm to the touch (not hot!).
  • Mix the yeast with the milk and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until bubbly.

Cooking/Assembling

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add the yeast mixture, softened butter, and eggs; stir together until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Let it rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
  • Roll the dough out, sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture, and roll it up tightly.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the rolled dough into a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure your milk is warm but not hot. Knead the dough well and let it rise properly for the best texture. Leftover bread can be stored in an airtight container for a few days or frozen for up to 3 months.
