Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, ensuring each ingredient is well incorporated.

Cooking

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, blending until just combined into a smooth dough.
  • Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Serving
