  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk Enhances the sauce's richness.

Preparation

  • Cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks.
  • In a bowl, whisk together egg whites and water.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with a pinch of salt.

Cooking

  • Coat each chicken piece in the egg mixture, then dredge in cornstarch.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  • Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.

Serving

  • Drizzle honey mixed with mayonnaise over the hot chicken.
  • Toss lightly to coat evenly.
  • Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Use a thermometer to keep oil temperature between 350°F and 375°F for perfect frying. Double the honey sauce if you love that sweet glaze. Store leftover chicken in an airtight container to keep it fresh. For a healthier twist, try air frying instead of deep frying. Fresh chicken enhances flavor and texture.
