  • Slice the chicken breast into uniform strips, about 1 inch wide.
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until fully blended.
  • Place panko breadcrumbs in another shallow dish.
  • Set up your assembly line: chicken strips, flour mix, egg, and then panko breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat (around 350°F or 175°C).
  • Dredge each chicken strip in the flour mixture, coating thoroughly.
  • Next, dip the chicken in the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
  • Finally, coat the chicken with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure they adhere.
  • Carefully place the coated chicken strips in the hot oil; fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Use a slotted spoon to transfer cooked chicken fingers to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
