Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Slice the chicken breast into thin strips.
  • Chop the bell peppers and onion into similar sizes.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken strips and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add sliced peppers and onions. Sauté until they are tender but still crisp, about 3-5 minutes.

Serving

  • Warm tortillas in another pan or microwave.
  • Assemble fajitas by filling each tortilla with the chicken-vegetable mixture.
  • Add desired toppings like sour cream, guacamole, or salsa.

Notes

For a smoky flavor, try using chipotle powder instead of chili powder. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
