  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Helps brown the potatoes.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash and halve or quarter the baby potatoes.
  • Slice the smoked sausage into bite-sized pieces.

Cooking

  • In a large bowl, toss the potatoes, sausage, olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until potatoes are golden and tender.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve hot!

Notes

For lighter options, substitute turkey sausage or grilled chicken. Ensure potato slices are even for uniform cooking. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet; ensure space for crispness.
