  • 2 cloves garlic Offers a fragrant and flavorful punch.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Adds umami depth to the dish.
  • 2 cups beef broth The flavorful base for cooking the pasta.
  • 8 ounces spaghetti The pasta that carries all the flavors.
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese Provides creaminess and tang.
  • 4 ounces American cheese Melts beautifully and enhances creaminess.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the steak on both sides with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the steak and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter.
  • Add the bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  • Transfer the vegetables to a bowl and set aside.
  • Increase skillet heat to high, add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling, add spaghetti and cook until al dente, stirring frequently.
  • Mix in the reserved vegetables with the pasta.
  • Top the pasta with provolone and American cheese, allow to sit for 1 minute, then stir until cheese is melted and well combined.
  • Slice the steak against the grain and place it on top of the pasta before serving.

Notes

This dish is customizable, feel free to swap out vegetables or proteins based on your preferences. Serve with a fresh side salad or garlic bread.
