Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients to streamline the cooking process.
  • Wash and chop the lettuce, halving the cherry tomatoes.
  • Dice the red onion finely for even distribution of flavor.
  • Prepare your serving bowls to have everything organized.
  • Set the stove at medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, add the ground beef, seasoning it with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the beef for about 8–10 minutes, breaking it apart until it’s perfectly browned.
  • While cooking, stir occasionally, allowing all the juices to mix.
  • Once the beef is done, remove it from heat and assemble your bowls.

Assembly

  • Layer the chopped lettuce at the bottom, followed by the cooked beef.
  • Add the tomatoes, red onions, cheddar cheese, and pickles on top.
  • Finish with a drizzle of mayonnaise and mustard for a flavorful touch.

Serving

  • Garnish each bowl with extra pickles or sliced tomatoes if you wish.

Notes

For the best results, drain excess fat from the beef after browning and ensure good seasoning throughout the cooking process.
