Preparation

  • Rinse fresh basil leaves and tear them into smaller pieces for better distribution.

Cooking

  • On a large baking sheet, spread the trimmed asparagus evenly.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Add cherry tomatoes to the baking sheet, ensuring they are spread out.
  • Toss everything together until well-coated in the oil and seasonings.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until asparagus is tender and bright green.
