  • 2 medium Carrots Chopped.
  • 2 stalks Celery Chopped.

Preparation

  • Dice the onions, carrots, and celery.
  • Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
  • Mince the garlic.
  • Measure out the canned tomatoes and broth.

Cook/Assemble

  • In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • Add the onions, garlic, carrots, and celery; sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, and broth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes until the flavors marry and the cabbage is tender.
