Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken and buffalo sauce. Stir well to coat all the chicken.
  • In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese with ranch dressing until smooth.
  • Chop celery and green onions, setting them aside for later.

Cooking

  • In a large baking dish, layer the buffalo chicken mixture across the bottom.
  • Spoon the cream cheese and ranch mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.
  • If you’re using cooked pasta, mix it in with the chicken before layering.
  • Sprinkle chopped celery and green onions over the cheese layer.

Serving

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a creamier texture, ensure cream cheese is very soft. Use shredded rotisserie chicken for quicker prep. Consider using low-fat cream cheese for fewer calories.
