Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash and trim the Brussels sprouts, cutting them in half.
  • Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
  • Prep any additional ingredients you'd like to add, like spices or herbs.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and cook until translucent, about 3–4 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the ground turkey, cooking until browned, around 5–7 minutes.
  • Add the Brussels sprouts, chicken broth, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Cook until the sprouts are tender.

Serving

  • Once everything is cooked and combined, season with red pepper flakes if using.
  • Serve warm—garnish with a little extra lemon juice for that zing.

Notes

Make a double batch to enjoy leftovers for lunch. Try ground chicken instead of turkey for a different flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
