Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt.

Cooking

  • Toss the chicken wings in the bowl with the sauce until well coated.
  • Place the wings on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden.

Serving

  • Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a couple of minutes.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the wings for 2-3 minutes at the end. They can also be prepared ahead of time and stored in the sauce overnight.
