  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon sugar Sprinkle for a crunchy finish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the butter and granulated sugar until creamy.
  • Add the milk and mix until well incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  • Peel and slice the peaches, adding them to a bowl with blackberries and a splash of orange juice.

Cooking

  • In a greased baking dish, spread the fruit mixture evenly at the bottom.
  • Dollop the batter over the fruit, spreading gently to cover.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon sugar generously over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  • Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick; it should come out clean.

Serving
