Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese Adds creaminess without heaviness.
  • 1 cup Fresh Blackberries Bring a sweet and tangy contrast.
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Optional for a classic pizza experience.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves Adds aromatic freshness.
  • 1 tbsp Honey Optional for added sweetness.
  • 1/2 tsp Salt For seasoning.
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper For seasoning.
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Glaze Optional, for drizzling on top.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Spread the pizza dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone, forming your desired shape.
  • Drizzle a thin layer of olive oil over the dough.
  • In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Wash and pat dry fresh blackberries.

Cooking/Assembling

  • Spread the ricotta cheese evenly across the prepared pizza dough.
  • Scatter fresh blackberries artfully over the ricotta.
  • Sprinkle torn basil leaves over the toppings.
  • If using mozzarella, sprinkle it at this stage.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

Serving

  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze, if desired.
  • Slice the pizza into desired portions and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra crispy crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
