Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for a crispy finish.
  • Gather all your ingredients and have them ready to go.
  • In a bowl, mash the avocado with lime juice, salt, and pepper to create a smooth sauce.
  • Mix the shredded beef with lime juice, salt, and pepper to enhance its flavor.

Cooking/Assembling

  • Warm the tortillas slightly in the microwave to make them more pliable.
  • Spread about two tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of each tortilla.
  • Roll each tortilla tightly to form taquitos, placing seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  • Spray or brush a little oil on the taquitos to promote crispiness.
